Genocide 100th Anniversary
year marks the 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide,
the first Genocide of the 20th century, where 1.5
million of our ancestors were killed and hundreds
of thousands were forced to leave our ancestral homeland.
Throughout the world, Armenian communities are planning
events both to raise awareness to our cause and to
remember those that tragically lost their lives.
Since October, Der Hayr and the Board of Trustees
have been meeting with the other Armenian Churches
in order to organize religious activities. This letter
is to announce what has been confirmed to this point
and to ask for your attendance at these events, which
are the following:

for the victims, as they will be canonized into Sainthood
on April 23rd in Etchmiadzin, Armenia. More details
